BREAKING HEART
My life has been dark
Contained within a box
Made to be lonely
Trying to fill a spot
Many expecting me
To be someone I’m not
Someone bright and charming
Not deep and dark with rot
No one knows the pain I’ve held
Quietly in the dark
I look forward to the day
When I can break apart
This pain and sadness I hold dearly
